People suck
   by rcn

I should rephrase that. Some people suck.

I just put in an application for a supervisor position where I work. Up until yesterday I privately thought I had a pretty good chance.

Then came yesterday... the Visa system went down, so we couldn't accept credit cards through the machines and as a result I was running around like my ass was on fire, using the old manual-swipes.

There was no problem until I encountered this particular bitch, who really deserved a slap. Any other day, I would have given her what for (I don't suffer fools gladly, and am normally rude to anyone who is rude to me) but yesterday was different. Thing is, she just kept pushing, and pushing, and then, to cap it all off, she said "An apology would be nice."

I could have smacked her.

Eventually she toddled off home, and that, I thought, was the end of the matter.

Oh no. She only reported me to our head office. I hadn't even done anything wrong, and I have witnesses to say I didn't, but still... looks like no supervisor job for me. No extra money.

Sucks to be me right now.
