Welcome to the future! I've been using a cellphone for years, with the help of Opera Mini, to access the web. The only drawback is that it doesn't support animations of any kind.

opera mini is a mediocre web experience in my opinion. To be honest I prefer to use internet exploder on a phone like that (I'm probably just stupidly old school). Now, I have heard very good things about the Bolt web browser as pertains to the blackberry storm in particular, however the touch pro couldn't install it or I didn't have the phone long enough to figure out how to do it (probably the latter). I did have Opera Mini on the Pro but I always found it clumsy and awkward to browse the web with it. So I found myself launching the default web browser (opera) doing a google search, getting to the web page itself and saying "Damn. Gotta go do this with internet exploder...." again.

Ah, well. Different strokes as they say. ie isn't an option for me, I'm not on a smart phone.  Bolt 0.86 was nice, it showed promise. Bolt 0.94 installs on my device, but doesn't make it through the first session without "connectivity issues". Support has no idea what's wrong. Bolt has a special build for the b'berry clan, maybe they need to do the same for Palm. Either way, happy surfing!

Have you contacted Bolt at all? They seem to cater to smart phones.

No i didnt think about contacting bolt, that is a very good idea. I was going to try bolt on the bb 8830 but my little sister bogarted it before i had the chance. Its too bad that you didnt get to have a good stab at bolt, who knows maybe they will fix it. As much as palm threatens to shut themselves down they still keep putting out new devices. So long as they do that youre kinda safe.
